The world’s first MGM Reserve, located in Zhuhai, Guangdong. The architecture draws inspiration from Lingnan traditions, artfully blending Cantonese garden aesthetics, and contemporary interpretation of the Chinese traditional mansion to create a sanctuary where urban life meets nature’s poetry. The hotel’s design strikes a delicate balance between modern and traditional styles, ingeniously translating representative elements—such as Lingnan floral windows, cyan brick walls, and the intangible cultural heritage of Gambiered Guangdong Silk—into spatial vocabulary through contemporary techniques. This approach allows the charm of ancient Lingnan gardens to be reimagined through a modern aesthetic lens.

In the hotel guest rooms, a palette of light-toned wood and dark gray stone forms an elegant yet understated foundation. East-meets-West furniture, natural wooden screens, Lingnan-style latticework, and artisanal pieces such as fine porcelain and lacquerware enrich the spatial layers, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, comfort, and a sense of luxury.
